Assistant Athletic Trainer
Christina Perez, MEd, ATC, LAT
Christina Perez, MEd, ATC, LAT is an Assistant Athletic Trainer on behalf of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Christina received her Bachelor's of Science in Exercise and Sports Medicine, concentrating in Athletic Training, from the University of Georgia in 2007. She went on to complete her Master's in Education, with a minor in Sports Management, at Auburn University in 2009. During her two years at Auburn University, Christina worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer solely with the Tiger's Indoor Volleyball team. Shortly after graduating from Auburn, she joined the Sports Medicine staff of Stetson University from 2009-2014. Here she enjoyed working mainly with the Hatters Woman's Basketball team and also had secondary team assignments with the Hatters Indoor Volleyball team, Men's and Women's Crew, and the Cheerleading team. Christina is licensed to work in the state of Georgia and has been a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association since 2007. She works very closely with the strength and conditioning coaches as well as our team doctor and physical therapist to ensure the safety and rehab of all our athletes. Christina is married to her husband Michael Perez.
